SOURCE: I need an owner's manual for a Samsung TV model LN52A850.

Hi,

I have made this manual available for you to download from here.

It is a fairly big file as it covers the entire 850 series (28.75 MB) - so please be patient while it downloads.

If this has helped please do leave a vote for the solution.

Many thanks for using FixYa.

SOURCE: My Samsung LN52A550 LCD TV will not stay on.

The ticking noise usually comes from the power section of the tv. Usually it is a capacitor failing. As far as the cost of repair this can go either way ie cheap or expensive. It will dpend on what exactly has failed and if it requires a board replacement or just a part.

I'm going to assume this isn't under warrenty anymore. It is covered if it is. You need to get some repair estimates from Samsung and any tv repair shops. Then keep and eye out for a replacement. Make sure you include any shipping costs or other costs when you are totaling up the estimates. If it gets close to the replacement cost then you will have to choose if you want a new tv or have a repair done.

Samsung lcd tv can't find a source, buttons on remote control don't respond, nor buttons on the control panel on the right side of the TV device

consult the owner manual or call Samsung---this set likely has a lockout feature that locks both the remote and the keyboard out.

You might also want to research this by taking the model number and Google key words "remote lockout" etc.

I have a Samsung LN52A550P3FXZA 52 inch TV. When pressing the power button, the TV clicks for a long period of time but will eventually turn on. Please help with any solutions. Thanks!

You likely have a power supply capacitor(s) that has gone bad. This is an easy fix, and I suggest you search youtube for "samsung capacitor" and you should get some good videos how to repair it if you can solder. If not, any friend who can solder can probably help you repair this with a couple dollars worth of parts form Radio Shack.

I NEED A REMOTE FOR A TV MODEL 52LN750B A SAMSUNG HAVING TROUBLE FINDING REMOTE AND OWNERS MANUAL CAN YOU HELP

I order my remotes from 1800remotes.com
They have a good selection. You may have to contact Samsung for the owners manual. I checked the Samsung website out and they did not show your model number. Check you number again, you may be able to download the manual from their site for nothing. I did find a 46ln750 and that may work for you..

I hope that this helps.

Tv codes

Greetings john mark,

It looks like the remote you have originally came with a few differnt DVD players from Sony. There appears to be directions for setting up the remote to work with a TV is on page 52 of the owners manual found at:

http://esupport.sony.com/US/perl/model-find.pl?mdl=DVP-NS425

Happy channel surfing.
