My htc one wont switch this problem started recently even if you reboot it it wont switch on what do i do in order for it to switch on?

Sounds like you have to change the stay on timing for longer.
-Wipe it down from top of screen to see if the flash light stay on or not. If it's on. you have to tab it off.

The battery is not charging on my AT&T Windows 8X. How do I know its charging. I've tried the hard reset and I get to the ! point and push the buttons in the order it tells me, but it does not reset. I just noticed even though I thought it was charging overnite, that it is not charged which may be why its not rebooting, I dont know. It just keeps flashing the HTC logo on the screen and goes black, then does it again. After seeing the battery charge indicator in the red, could it be that there's no power to reboot????

Do not do a hard reset,you don't need to. Hold the power button down for twenty seconds and the phone will reboot itself.

Sindia, this sound me software problem, when your device has a software problem it wont charge or start at all normally, so try to hard reset but this will delete all data for hard reset follow the instruction :
1. Switch off device;
2. After 3 min, Press and hold volume down button and power on button once it shows 3 android images appear leave the buttons and press volume down to select a clear storage, and then press power and then press volume up to start the factory reset. after this process your device wil reboot and start normally. now your device is ready to use. I can tell you if your battery is an aftermarket one they tend to stop working after a short tim. Either they stop working in the charger or they wont make the correct connection in order to power up. the may be the problem even if its an HTC battery. I have two batteries right now that are fully charged but wont turn on the phone. this is not uncommon for this to happen with lithiem batteries.

May be this is because of using older ROM's i.e firmware..

Goto HTC site and find the updated ROM for ur device..

Current version of ROM's may have fix for ur problems...

Take backup of ur data before updating the firmware....

i had this problem when the handset got WET did it get wet by chance? If so you need to ensure it stays in a dry not too hot a place for a day or two REMEMBER to have the power off and also out of the back too.
I got the three colours all i done was took the battery out while the phone was on and then restarted the phone (after replacing the battery) Do this Once or twice more if it fails then you will have to do a reboot. go to www.bt.com/help/broadband anywhere (british telecom safe site for htc handset help) The site will give you the info required to reboot handset. Hope this is of help to you. Even if your handset was not wet i would do the battery bit and the reboot too.......

to hard reset the htc s 710....................
1) switch off the phone first,
2) again switch it on....and as soon as the green led starts blinking (indication of phone coming to life) immedietly press and hold both the soft keys at a time, and follow the instruction given on u r phone screen. :)

For this u need to format the set & reinstall the software.... it works..
