Is latch adjustable to make door tighter?

your door is not staying latched.. imagine if it did stay running and the door came completely open, what a mess that would be. so there are safety switches that help stop the washing if the door opens. not too sure how to fix your exact washer.. but the problem is the door not staying closed. maybe you can jamm the door shut while it is running? its not the best answer, but probably the most free way to fix it

Either the door spring is broken or the linkage that ties the spring to the door hinge...the springs hook onto the leg/frame asm that supports the tub then the spring fit into that linkage and the liknage fits onto the door hinges.

This link is a parts breakdown for your model and item #6 is the spring and item #11 is the linkage..their is 2 of them (one on the left and one on the right) and its reccomended that both are replaced at the same time

Adjust the door lock. Check the door switch wires. Replace the door switch mechanism. In this order.

dear sir/mam
please change the door limit switch (door lock) after using for several times the terminals of the doorswitch will be weeken.

There is a loose or semi broken wire in the door harness or the door switch needs adjusted.

Have someone replace your bad door switch

With a philips screwdriver turn the adjusting screww inside locking lever mechanisim, The latch at the top frame has adjustment screws too.

possibly a bad door switch losing contact, only after opening nad closing is it making contact again. part number for door swtiches and holder 99002254 retails for a about $25
