Watch the video. You only need the first part reset on the machine. Then punch in new code.

I reset my liftmaster/chaimberlain keypad (976LM) and now can't access garage. Is there a default code? No other access into garage (new owner to this house).

Make sure the battery in the keypad is good. You cannot reset the keypad without access to the opener. You will have to find a way into the garage.

A door technician uses a special tool to pull the emergency release after drilling a small hole in the door. The door can then be lifted without damaging anything. A keyed manual release assembly is then installed in the hole to be used if there are problems in the future like a power outage or malfunction like you have now.

How to reset garage door opener pad without old acess number

A Stanley garage door keypad is wall-mounted, battery-operated device that allows you to open your home's garage door electronically without having to manually lift the door or use a pull chain. The keypad uses a four-digit access code that you program after the keypad is initially installed. You can change the code, disable the keypad manually by entering a invalid code and reset the keypad if the device is not working properly. After you reset your Stanley garage door keypad, the device is ready to accept a new access code.

I can't get my key pad for my garage door to open. can i reset my key pad to open my garage door???

You can reset the code but it sounds like it may have just failed. Make sure the battery is good and try more than one just in case. To reset the code:

Locate the smart/learn button on the rear of the motor unit near where all those white wires go. Press and immediately release this and then walk over to your keypad and key in your 4 digit code and press enter.

I have liftmasterPro garage door opener. How do i

You cannot change the code of the opener without purchasing new remotes and not using your existing remotes. To change the code of the keypad locate the smart/learn button just to the left of all those white wires. Press and immediately release this and then walk over and key in any 4 digit number and press enter.
