SOURCE: hi... I have a Kogan Agora Smart TV,... the date

What is the model number on the back of your TV? It should look something like this KALED42SMTWA or KALED423DSMTZA. However, try the following instructions first, if they don't work I will need the exact model to give more specifics.

  1. On the remote with the TV turned on and connected to the internet then Press MENU button to display the OSD menu.
  2. Use left/right arrow buttons to select the main menu(I think the time should be 4th right from the top so that's 4 right arrows), and press down arrow button to enter the submenu.
  3. Check the time zone option first, make sure this is correct. You should be able to change the time in this mode, if you can't then it gets the time from the internet and the only thing you can change is the time zone and this should fix it as it will auto update the time from the net on its own.
  4. Press MENU button again to return to the main menu then press EXIT button.

I hope this helps..

Kogan 65 agora smarty TV series 8 ku8000. I am trying to load a sound bar to this Tv but unable to get sound through the bar. I am using a HDMI cable. Please help

Try going into your TV's menu under "sound" and look for "speakers". There may or may not be a setting there to shift to an external output. Some have it and some don't. Good luck.

Forgot password on modem

there are more than one password.

There is the one for you DSL connection itself and this stays the same and is not changed without speaking to your ISP.

then there is the wireless.
Depending on they types of setup there may also be more than one for this too. EG a PW for wirless A+B and another for G+N if your modem supports that
Additionally there may also be one for GUEST access

All the latter ones can be set normally by the end user. However some ISP's are a PITA and can often tightly control those aspects even.

First off can you get into your modem maintenance pages ?

http://cirt.net/passwords?vendor=Efficient

Go through the list there until you dind one that works
Quite often another model will be the same as with most routers etc.

Once you are into the modem then you can set the passwords as you need but PLEASE write EVERYTHING down !!

Also take not of what you need by way of security for your tablet
EG does it only work with WEP ? as that is the MINIMUM you need and WPA is better if it supports it.

Also TKIP AES etc etc

Best bet is to set up for the poorest device on your wireless and then re-do all other devices to suit.

Never heard of the kogan brand tablet but a quick look around has it to be a low end unit so it may not have full implementations of all wireless protocols.
What is the android OS version too as that may play into things.
