Hello: TRY THIS Attempt to start the car leave the key on for 10 minutes or until the security light goes out, at this time turn key off for 10 seconds, turn switch on for ten more minutes or when security light goes out, turn key off for 10 seconds. Turn key ON for ten minutes or when security light goes out, turn key off wait 10 seconds, then start car....
sounds like a switch issue but from the number of issues posted here---that this unit is having--I would check on line with consumer guide to see if there's class action for this product being defective---also attorney general--this also goes for the rest of people who own these Stanley power stations this is the best I can do--sorry
This knife is ****. To load... you have to push the slide all the way forward. Make sure the switch is set to unlock. PINCH THE BLADE WITH YOUR FINGERS AND WIGGLE IT INTO PLACE. Then you have to use every ounce of thumb power to relock the switch.
Once you are done, the blade will still come out in 9.9 / 10 times you cut something.
Google: how to change blade in Stanley 10-379 utility knife. Stanley website shows how knife & blade look on the outside. Put it together so it looks like that. Sorry, but ain't don't know how to send the picture to you.
