I'm serving timefor a felony fta in California . Could I petition for resentencing and reduction on a felony fta if the charge I failed to appear for was dismissed?

Step 1) Quit doing whatever earned you the felony in the first place. It sounds simple, I know. The truth is though that employers are often uncomfortable with the perceived risk based on high recidivism rates.
Step 2) Don't lie about the felony. It's better to be rejected for 15 jobs because of the felony than to get one, and be constantly looking over your shoulder. If they hire you in spite of your felony, it is then very hard to terminate you because of your felony. Lie though, and it's bye bye right now most likely.
Step 3) You have to suddenly become the greatest salesman on the planet. And the product you're selling is you. Be prepared in an interview to share more than most would advise; briefly give a background of the charge, how your life circumstances or behaviors contributed to it and be prepared to immediately follow up with what is different in your life today, and why despite the felony label, you would be a good hire.
Step 4) Be prepared for rejection. Don't take it personally, after all, you earned it. Continue on to your next interview and don't get discouraged. Overcoming the difficulties associated with a felony conviction takes time. Progress, progress progress.

d. on the FTA box, using your remote, go to Menu, Settings or Sytem Information, keys, firmware or receiver Upgrade, select USB, select Flash, Save, Activate or Upgrade;
e. wait until the FTA box has uploaded to itself the new firmware/satellite keys;
f. reboot (power on/off).

If you are using PC-based FTA satellite receiver:
i. run your FTA receiver program;
ii. select for Tools/Options/Upgrade or Update;
iii. browse/direct to search in your temporary folder where downloaded files were unzipped;
iv. once found, click OK/Update/Upgrade;
v. in some brand/model/version, there is an auto upgrade/update feature which will download appropriate firmware/satellite keys if you are online.
