The 40" version of the Samsung 5200 series 5, UN40J5200AF, does have a 3.5 mm (mini) headphone/speaker audio out jack. See the specifications here, http://www.samsung.com/ca/support/model/UN40J5200AFXZC/ ; just expand the section for More Specifications. This is also shown on page 6 of the e-Manual (expand the Manuals section). The direct link to the e-Manual is currently http://downloadcenter.samsung.com/content/UM/201504/20150417115111056/ENG-US_NMATSCJ-1.104-0410.pdf , according to my history.

I hope this helps. If you have a different TV in the series, check the specifications at Samsung's support site. There may be variations in the input/output options on the other TVs.

I have a Samsung series 7 smart TV. I want to plug in 2 sets of headphones. Is that possible?

Simply purchase a "headphone splitter"... it splits your single audio source to two headphone jacks.

My headphine jack simply won't work. I have tried multiple headphones, but it doesn't sense them or something because it continues playing out of the speakers.

is it a tablet?....phone?....laptop??? you dont say. If it is a laptop..make sure you are plugging it into the 'headphone' jack...not the input or mike jack. they all look the same except for color. if itis a tablet...go into the settings and see that the headphone jack is set to 'headphones' and not 'speaker'
It is possible you have a defective headphone jack...there is a small switch build into the jack that disconnects the speakers and turns the headphone audio path to the headphones. sorry..now I see what the device is

My phones' audio jack won't play music from the right ear bud

Have you use another headphones insteading of your Sony headphones to have a try? Make sure it is not the problem of headphone, then you may need a headphone jack replacement to replace the old one.

Hello: I have had my ipod touch for a long time now no problem until now.....i have ipod touch 3G 32gb and whenever i listen to music....and i put my headphones in the jack. If i move the ipod itself like...

smoething like that happened to me. do you wrap your headphones around the Ipod when you're not using it? The connections inside the headset can break if you do that, and if its not the headset, then it is likely that something in the general vincinity of the headphone jack is loose.

How do I play my iPod touch through my 55" Samsumg led 3d series 8 tv?

You need a cable, either a headphone jack to red/white (audio), or a special headphone jack with yellow (video) and red/white (audio). They look like this: Apple Component AV Cable

How to attch speakers to series 8 tv

From the spec sheet I was able to find it APPEARS that the only way to connect speakers to this unit is via the headphone jack. There seems to be ONLY input audio, no output other than the headphone jack.

Using this jack will likely turn off the internal speakers and you will have to use AMPLIIFIED or "ACTIVE" speakers if you want external ones.

If you connect external devices to this, make sure they are all fed from the same receptacle to avoid ground loops and possiblle damage.

Creative Inspire 5200 speakers connecting to DVD player.

These are computer speakers, they will not work for a dvd player... Your dvd player has an rca/collex (SP) cable while your speakers have a 2.5 headphone style jack
