Check if your computer has a VGA output - a socket to plug in a 15 pin adaptor (15 pins over 3 rows). If your TV also has the same socket, you will just need 2 cables:
1.8 METRE VGA MALE TO VGA MALE CABLE - Laptop, TV, PC & Monitor
3.5mm Stereo Plug to Stereo Plug 1.2 Mtrs Gold
The second lead is for the audio connection .. if you don't have this you won't get any sound on the tv. NB older TVs may not have a VGA socket.

Smart TV's make up the audio output for your smart tv apps. You will need to use the Optical output of the TV and plug it into an available Optical input to the home theater receiver. Make note of the name of the input on the home theater receiver (i.e. CD/DVD, TV, DVD, etc) because that is the input you'll have to select on the receiver to hear the App audio. Hope that helps
