First I'm not a OSTER tech. But I have worked on similar table top semi-automatic machines. You should call your vendor for service as there is no customer serviceable parts in this machine. (Yes, I know you tried)
*** the following is for information only. ***
* If your leaking at or under the water tank then check for crack or you may be missing a rubber seal, o-ring, or washer. Replace the whole tank as a unit.
* If your leaking at the bottom, drip tray, or side only when the pump buzzes (pumping water) then there is a cracked or disconnected hose line or fitting. Check the hoses to the pump.
* If your leaking when the steam wand is in use then there is a similar problem with the 2nd pump system.
* The pressure is usually preset in the vibration pump. Some pumps have an adjustable spring regulator but since you have not touched this then either the spring is broken or stuck. You will have to disassemble the pump which is very tedious. I will leave several links below. Take your time and lay out the parts on a clean (colored) towel. Avoid using a white towel as some parts are also white.
* Final; Leaking water and electrical equipment is not a good idea. Best to be safe. Unplug, wipe down, and look for leaks.

PS Okay sorry I thought there was a posted video of the actual dis-assembly of the vibration pump. Looks like I will have to post my own tear down of this type of pump. I have several old ones. They are common on Amazon.com

SOURCE: Leaking water from steamer

For the grouphead check the basket there might be a slight bump around the edge that is preventing it from making a good seal when it contacts the gasket in the head. If the Double works fine then the gasket is not the problem.
For the steam wand try flushing wand for 3 seconds just before steaming, if that does not help with the watery milk, then the boiler is not getting hot enough to produce steam.

SOURCE: Leaking water from the group and steam spout

Hi there,
You will need to take the machine apart completely as there are more gaskets inside the group head. You can buy an old group service kit at www.theespressoshop.co.uk for about £20 and it comes with an exploded diagram so you can see what goes where. Don't worry there is no technical mechanical solenoid like the last comment stated. I repair these machines for a living and all it needs is a good service.

All the best

Expresso machine screw on lid leaks steam

The valve in the lid is faulty, it will eventually fail completely. The correct lid can be ordered from your local Krups service agent. Be prepared for disappointment though as many of them are now obsolete. You will need to give the agent the model number, it's normally on a sticker on under the base.

Task force 2000 pressure washer just quit in mid job, no water, no machine sounds, no leaks anywhere, and blew 2 hoses, any suggestions on what may be the hold up?

The customer rating on this product at Lowe's is 1.5 stars out of 5. It is electric & operates on a series of pressure sensors and valves.I don't use electrics because There is no way to protect or lubricate the internal mechanisms from hard water sources. My guess is your machine jammed up as a result of hard water leaving residues on a switch, valve or sensor. I also learned many of the Lowes customers found no customer service for this item which leads me to believe it is a private labeled(made just for a limited store sale) machine fabricated in either Mexico or China. Your best recourse is to trash it and purchase a gas powered one with a CAT style pump(not mounted under the motor) in the future. Also, do the maintenance. These things need to be completely emptied of water after each use and lubed with a product such as "pump saver" and the fittings & triggers need to be sprayed with WD-40(it displaces water). If not they will clog, seize, corrode etc. If these "do all" pressure washers they are selling at Lowes & Home Depot with all the attachments were any good I would have bought 4 instead of spending the money I did on my set up. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

My understanding is that this is normal with units like the ESP8XL which use a pressurized portafilter. Non-pressurized units will leave a dry puck of used grounds.

Boiler cap pressure valve

The part that they describe as the cap is actually the pressure relief valve assy inside the cover. There are 3x F985 models and the cap is available for only 2 of them. You will need to purchase the part from a service centre or similar but you will also need to provide the full longer model number. F9854259 or F9854251 are what you want to see or F9857151 means you bin it.
