It means "Crystal Clear Display"but in basic term its called a ccd bus, basically the OH console module is not communicating with body control module so you want to check power and ground pins or you just might have a bad module, sorry. A self-diagnostic test is used to determine that the compass mini-trip computer module is operating properly electrically. CCD communications test. Following completion of these tests, the compass mini-trip computer will display one of three messages: “PASS,” “FAIL,” or “CCd.” if the “CCd” message is displayed, the use of a DRBt scan tool and the proper Diagnostic Procedures manual are required for further diagnosis.
if you don t have a ccd faulty???? its probably that you have change the iso. and the iso are to high. contol this selction. if the camera dont have betterement, it s very probably that the problem is in the ccd sensor. you can search on the international ebay seller, the lens block of your camera with ccd. or if you are lucky it s probably that you find only the ccd. to change the ccd sensor of one camera you must have specific knowledge. but any seller sell to you the lens bloc with ccd and on installation guide. if you decide to change the sensor write to me and i will see to help you better as possible...why i am to far away from you..i am from rimini italy. sorry for my bad english
Your ccd-f301 camcorder if as old as the hills and should be replaced. I can fix them but it a total rebuild due to major capacitor failure . Then also can have issues with the guide arms coming off the guides and very loose guide rollers. It's a 20 year old camcorder. What is going on with your ccdtrv608? that is a cool camcorder. Hello, Its problem of defective CCD Imager in DCR-HC19Ecamera and this part needs to be replaced.

Sony offers various models repair with CCD Imager issue free of cost but I couldn't find your model in that list. Contact nearest Sony Service Center for guide lines.
If you cant see camera view while recording or just operating in camera mode, it has Defective ccd imager!! company will replace this ccd imager free of charge. Year 2002 up to 2005 released unit has a factry defect ccd imager. the company recalled these unit and replaced with a stronger version of ccd imager( they are still doing it). check it out.
Two possibilities : tape guide mechanism in the VTR needs replacing/adjustment or more likely CCD sensor is outputting a 'noisy' image and the CCD sensor block must be replaced. Many manufacturers of v-cams will repair this fault ( CCD sensor ) free of charge. Find out.
