"F11" is a serial communications error between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and Motor Control Unit (MCU), or interconnecting wiring. In a nutshell, the CCU, (which is the main computer board for the washer) has more than likely failed. You can try disconnecting the connectors and plugging them back in on the CCU, but I haven't had much luck with that remedy. You will need to UNPLUG the washer & take the washer top off by removing the three screws in the back to gain access to it. Once removed, slide the top back and then lift up. The CCU is located directly behind the wash tub.
If you cannot get the fault to clear and wish to repair this yourself, you can find the part at repairclinic.com. Just type in your complete model number and look for item number 1176592. The part lists for about $157. Searspartsdirect.com also has the part for much more, but offers informative troubleshooting diagrams. The CCU can be found under the "Control Panel Parts" heading as item number 15 (part #8182695). If you wish to do some comparative pricing of your own, use the part number provided by the Sears website.
If the washer still carries a warranty, this would be covered. Doublecheck with the manufacturer on how long some parts are covered. Some of the electronics and mechanical parts are covered beyond the one-year limited warranty that generally comes with your appliance.
I know this may be discouraging news, but you can repair this yourself and avoid labor costs. It may seem expensive, but considering how much these washers cost (I know, because I own one), it may be worth the effort. I hope this helps you. Post back if you have further questions or need instructions.

Hi Keitha1
I'm Harvey the Master Plumber
You want to know what code dL means on a whirklpool duet washer.
This is what works for me 99% of the time:
Simply unplug the washer for ten minutes. The onboard computer will reset and work like new.
Please understand that you are not being shortchanged. There are hundreds of codes and with this new computer tech. they mostly require a repareman. To save you money the manufacturer has designed it to reset itself after ten minutes to solve most problems. Try this first, you can always call a local pro later if you want.

Sud= The unit has sensed there is too many suds in the unit it will
flush and pump out for 5 min and restart on its own..This is caused by
too much soap use..
From the book :
SUD Code=
If too much detergent was used:
—Run the unit through a Rinse/Spin cycle.
—Run a Normal cycle without adding any detergent.
This should clear the unit of the excess detergent.

or kinked.

pressure switch, and Central Control Unit (CCU).
4. Check/clean drain pump filter of foreign objects.
5. Plug in washer or reconnect power.
6. Check drain pump.

SOURCE: What does code F70 and F71 mean on my whirlpool duet?
Error code F70 means no communication is detected from the Central Control Unit (CCU) to the User Interface while F71 is the reverse; no communication detected from the User Interface to the Central Control Unit (CCU). This could simply mean a loose or poor connection between the two communicating boards.
Disconnect power to the washer prior to servicing to avoid the risk of electric shock.
Remove the three screws attaching the top panel to the rear of the washer then slide the panel rearward and lift it off the washer.
Disconnect the User Interface ribbon connector from the left side of the Central Control Unit (CCU) and clean the connector and terminals thoroughly. Reseat the connector several times to ensure a good connection between the Central Control Unit (CCU) and the User Interface.
It is highly recommended to clean and reseat every wiring harness connector from the Central Control Unit (CCU) to prevent the same problem in the near future.
Reconnect every wiring harness to the CCU and make sure all connectors are firmly seated. Slide the top panel back into position and secure it to the rear of the washer with the screws previously removed.
Let us know if the problem persists for further assistance. We will be happy to resolve your problem.
SOURCE: WHAT DOES F 20 MEAN?
Hi,
The reason for "F 20" is that while there is "NO WATER DETECTED ENTERING MACHINE OR PRESSURE SWITCH TRIP NOT DETECTED." If after 30 seconds not minimum 0.1l of water entered or maximum fill time of 13 minutes is exceeded, the valves will be turned off and the error code will be displayed. Press PAUSE/CANCEL twice to clear the display.
The possible fix for this problem is:
If there is no water in the unit: Make sure that both valves at the water source(s) are turned on all the way.
Check for plugged or kinked inlet hoses or plugged screens in the inlet valves.
Verify inlet valve operation.
If there is water in the unit: Verify that the pressure switch hose is in good condition and
properly connected to tub and pressure switch.
1. Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2. Verify there is not a siphon problem.
3. Verify wire harness connections to inlet valves, pressure switch, flow meter, and Central Control Unit (CCU).
4. Check all hoses for possible leaks.
5. Plug in washer or reconnect power.
6. Verify pressure switch operation.
7. Verify flow meter operation by blowing air through the part and measuring the resistance.
8. Verify CCU operation by running a Diagnostic test or any cycle.
