try this - it is a product recall. perhaps your heater is listed. you may get a new heater.
Consumer Contact: Call Aloha toll-free at (800) 295-4448 between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m., and between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.CT Monday through Friday. Aloha is based in Texas, It is the importer for these heaters. Heater comes from China and is distributed by Wal-Mart.
