Just for information i will like you to look into the track of the belt and guide it in the path as follows.
The belt normally goes around the turntable RIM at the bottom and to the spindle of the motor which is fitted on the same plane and platform.
You need not have to take out all the parts to replace but the threading of the belt around will fit correctly. The belt path can be seen well if you look on the marks left by the old one and so becomes very easy to thread.

The chances are the rubber drive belt
has either broken or stretched so that it has fallen off the drive
pulleys.
You will need to gain access to the
underside of the turntable to replace it.
With most turntables the process will be
to secure the tone arm (a rubber band will do the trick) before turning the
whole thing upside down and unscrewing the base.
