If it doesn’t generate power when you pedal, it may be a simple 9 volt battery problem. Here’s. 1 minute video showing the fix: https://youtu.be/YTvt6vYTsBY

Besides the battery, which you’ve checked already, you can disconnect the harness and reconnect it. This is usually the cause for the issue. Remember also that if your revolutions are below 40 per minute, it can cause the same problem.
What I'm finding in the way of manuals isn't more specific than that the system uses 2 'D' size batteries, which should last about 800 hours. A review here Lifecycle GX Review Spin Bike Reviews Indoors Fitness (about 2/3 way down the page) mentions that the batteries are in the console and easy to replace. I'd look for a battery door, likely secured with a small phillips head screw, and large enough to accommodate D Cells. It also mentions that there is a low-battery warning at the top of the console.

This really sounds like there is a problem with your console. You might consider contacting LifeFitness for replacement options and or further troubleshooting. 1-800-351-3737 is the contact phone number for them directly.
The Lifefitness Lifesyscle 9500HR battery location is at in the lower portion of the recumbent bike.
This is a 1/2 to one hour task for most do it yourself'er.
In order to gain access to the battery compartment, you has to remove the pedals.
The center cover has to be remove.
The 6V battery will be within 12" from the pedals.

Well most probably there is a battery problem, you need to replace the battery in your bluetooth headset, most of these models are powered by Small Lithium Ion or NiMh rechargeable batteries and these like cordless phone batteries are designed to be replaced at some point in its lifecycle. Find the even **** on the bottom side of the unit, where the microphone boom is attached. Place the edge of the flathead screwdriver along these slits, and twist gently back and forth until the unit opens up. Do not completely open the unit up. then you see the battery.
You were probably steered wrong. I would expect the battery is the problem.
Use a voltmeter to check voltages.
If the battery is fully down, the alternator MAY have to have the field "flashed" to start generating.
In an automobile the current throu the alternator "idiot light" DOES THIS AUTOMATICALLY.but for your lifecycle I don't know how they do that unless the alternator uses permanent magnets.
