I only get a wifi connection when I am next to the wifi hub. I lose the signal when I move 4 meters from the hub. Other laptops pick up the wifi without problem. I have tried using the zenbook on main

It's may be the laptops Antenna? Wire broken, pinched, damage, connection loose. The Antenna is usually behind the monitor, wires run from the wireless adapter through the hinges and attach to the antenna, Maybe a loose connection on the Wireless adapter itself? Sometimes you can access through a bay door on the bottom of the laptop, sometimes you have to disassemble the laptop/keyboard, depends on the Asus Model. Have you connected a Ethernet cable?

How to connect ipad to my tv

You will need Apple Composite AV Cables to connect the iPad to your television. The cables can be purchased online or at your local Apple store.

You can also stream your iPad to your television if you have an Apple TV by using Apple's Airplay.

Hope that helps!

How do I charge the iPad battery.

USB hubs typically don't generate the 10 watts necessary to charge an iPad when it's connected to your computer. This basically means you can't use your laptop to recharge your iPad.

Apple recommends finding an AC outlet and using 10-watt power adapter that came with your iPad.

Some of my peripherals, trackball inc. want to be connected to the netbook instead of settling for my hub. What do I HAVE to connect to the computer among CD drive, hard drive, printer, keyboard,...

Most likely your USB hub is not capable of supplying enough power to support all your peripheral devices. USB devices are powered by 5 volts from the USB port. If you connect a hub to a USB port and connect a lot of devices to the hub, there is not enough 5 volt power to let all devices work. To fix this, most USB hubs have an external power option that when plugged in will supply extra power for any connected devices.
If your hub does not have an external power option I would suggest you purchase a new hub that does have an external power supply.

Good luck :)

Wireless Connection with a Laptop

Hi, I presume you have internet installed already.
Is it dsl connection you have or via a digital set top tv box, such as SKY or Virgin , I don't know which country you are in, but you will have to find a provider first.

All you need is wireless router and the first connections are :-
1/ Phone line to modem
2/ Modem to router
3/ Router to laptop ( This is a physical, temporary connection, while the wireless part is setup.
4/ Which ever router you buy, follow the instructions carefully

If you need more help, please ask.

Regards - Anthony

How do i configure my Belkin router to work with Sky broadband?

I'm not into hacking what I cannot find on ISP's sites

From what I can gather from the Sky Broadband site reading the manual installation procedures -- the process is pretty much automatic when it comes to installing their equipment leaving no clues as to how they configure it. What is the model if the Belkin router? Options probably exist to attach your device to theirs either as a router (establishing a second network behind theirs) or an access point joining as a member of their network - meaning there would would be two wireless networks in either case in the house (as there are no indications I have found on the site that the provided the sky router can be configured in any way such as turning off wireless). At least according to the documentation the sky router's wireless is running WPA-PSK security / encryption which is good -- and the documentation for attaching non-sky wireless adapters appears to be documented here.
