No, you cannot use the Garmin charger on your NavMan. Even though it is of the same voltage, the mA is most likely different. It may work, but it might also damage your NavMan's electronic board and circuits.

You can use a universal charger that is available the electronic stores but make sure that it is compatible with Navman.

What site do you normally have on your browser as a start page? I use Paul & Associates Computer Services, Google & MSN as a start page. You just need to check your IE options by clicking Tools and then Internet Options. The first thing that you should see the site designation. If not just click and put for example http://www.paulcomputerservices.com/ or http://www.msn.com/ as your start pages. Then you can navigate from their to other sites that you commonly use day-to-day.

The screen freezes after you re boot put in destination and turn off then on again screen frozen re boot and of till you turn off then on again frozen again

I would read throught the manual see if your problem is describled
and it will tell you how to reset your nav and you could try loading the new sofware found here

Machine in cold shed. Supply pipes no longer frozen, but machine still displays F37 error and beeps and no water getting in. Have tried presssing temp button twice but no good.

F37 is because of operating the unit below specified temperatures.

Pressing the temperature button twice shows a snowflake and sets a defrost function.

I have a navman f20. it has frozen on the main screen

Possable fix ?? surgery mabee nesessary if they the same as a f40 they have a sd memory stick inside they usually lose contact open it up and copy contents to a new sd make sure contacts are clean and seat it in properly wont cost you much to try at least

I wondered how you charge the navman s 100

According to page 3 of the s series manual, "use the home charger model MII050100 supplied by navman as an accessory (may be sold separately)

Page 10 gives more details - simply plug in the home adapter, car adapter, or usb cable from your pc into the usb socket on your unit. Computer must be turned on.

just been on navman site,in tech surport it said hold on/off button down for 10seconds to reset.

Try hitting your reset button if you haven't already. I had the same problem and this worked for me.
