SOURCE: directions to change day and date on old bucherer automatic watch

Try this: pull out the winding crown to the first click and change the date. Memorize which way the crown turns to do that. Now turn the crown in opposite direction and the day should adjust.
This solution wrks for most of the makes.
If this doesb't work - submit the make, model and all the writings on watch caseback.

SOURCE: Date Changes during the day

Hi Jeffrey, Put stem into "set hands" position and adjust hands to the 12:00 position. Day and date should advance at or close to that time. If you pass 12:00 and there's no change continue rotating another 12 hours and they should advance. Once youv'e found that there's midnight so if you're setting the time at say four (4:00) in the afternoon (pm) you will neew to rotate the hands so around the dial so they pass 12:00 once more then four hours more to 4:00. Now I assume by bilingual you mean that the day ring has like Mon (monday) and Lun for Spanish or the like. In this case if it's showing the wrong languare set the crown (winder) to the first position (second posn is "set hands) and rotate winder eithr clockwise or anticlockwise. Once you discover how to advance the day ring just set it to the correct day/language you want and press the crown home. Hope this solves your problem. If the advances are changing at some obscure time like 8:40 or something it's because the hands pave been located incorrectly and would need correcting by removing movement from the case.

Testimonial: "Perfect- very detailed and easy to follow. Thank you!"

SOURCE: Need instructions on how to

Some of these can be quite a bugger to set, there are so many variates of Pulsar watches, and I'm not able to locate exact instructions for that model. However if you call Pulsar with that model number they will gladly provide a free manual for you, one you can probably even download and view, or they can email it to you directly. Please call Pulsar at 1-201-529-5730 and request the instructions.

Thanks
Tim

I have a new Carrera watch, the day is not shown in English, can it be changed?

Most watches have two dates English and another language. Pull the crown out to the first click and turn it clock wise. this may change the date, if so turn the crown anti clock wise and will change the day. It will click over to English.

My DZ4067 functions in the non-English day of the week for 21 hours a day now. How do I change it back so the the day of the week is in English for 21 hours a day?

The "day of the week" wheel on your watch actually has 2 settings on it--one for English, one for another language (often French, but could also be Russian, Japanese, Korean, or any other language, depending on the intended distribution of the watch). You'll need to shift the day track over by "half a notch," so to speak, to get things back in alignment.

The crown you use to set your watch can be pulled out into 2 positions. If you pull it all the way out, you set the time. If you pull it half-way out, you can set the day and date. If you turn the crown clockwise, you advance the date. If you turn the crown counter-clockwise, you should be able to change the day of the week. However, instead of turning the day back a full day, stop when you get a day with the correct language on it. At this point, pull the crown out all the way and manually advance the time 12 or 24 hours until the day and date advance as they would when the watch is running. This is to check that you've correctly gotten the day track correctly oriented. You may have to repeat this process a second time to get it right.

Once you have the day back on track, adjust the date and time, and you should be good to go.

Diesel's own directions, which can be found here: http://store.dieseltimeframes.com/common/images/customercare/instructions/ENGLISH/Diesel_Core-Inst_ENG.pdf are pretty cryptic, but they do have a diagram that might help a little bit. You'll want to look at the section for "Day/Date Watch IS02, 507.2-3, 517.2, 2105, 2305, 2405"

Good luck!

Ref G3002-Batt:UC-364 PO:01092. Rotary quartz watch. I require to alter the date and day feature which has english and european days. I can alter the time by pulling the handle out which is shielded in...

Your watch should have a position in between home and fully out but it sounds as if your watch is like mine, where I cannot detect the position (i.e no click or feeling any detent).

Try to pull the crown wheel out a little and turn it. (the day and date change feature is in this middle position).

The english days can be achieved by turning the wheel until the desired day shows (it alternates between english and another language).

Have patience and keep trying until you get the feel for the correct position!

mcdevito75 here, The stem has 2 positions, first adjust the day or month by going thru the 24 hour cycle with the stem. once set, slip a finger nail just ubder the stem and lift carefully this should allow you to change the DATE adjust to 1 date before the date you need, now pull the stem out to adjust date and time of day turn sten the complete 24 hour cycle to achieve the correct date and time of day. Now your watches day and date are set and will change to the next day date on time, around Mid nite 1 --2 AM.

Nicolet Men's Metrosphere Swiss Automatic Stainless Steel Watch the day is not in English, currently it shows MIE, can I set this to show the days in english?

I don't know this watch specifically but typically the following applies:
To set the day/date you set the crown (winder) to the first position (second posn is "set hands) i.e. pull out one stop, and rotate winder eithr clockwise or anticlockwise. Once you discover which direction advances the date and day ring just set it to the correct day/language and date you want then press the crown home.

Can't seem to get AM & PM set properly

Had Pulsar analog watch. Couldn't set either day or date properly due to being unable to signify AM or PM. When days changed one or the other would be 12 hours off.
""googled" adjusting Pulsar watches" and found site which explained how. You set day of week and date to previous day and date and then move watch time ahead until day and date are correct. Then set watch time. Seems to work.
