You are going to have to get right into it and test all the wiring for voltage or there could be problems in the windings. and that is the only way to find out

SOURCE: have an fg5700ak runs ok but no power output what

Typical diodes are 10 amp for these. The stator and rotor both have VERY low resistance readings. The reading typically will be below that which will register MEANINGFULLY on the digital meters.

My generator had 10 amp diodes with surge protectors across them. One of the protectors shorted and generator output was zero. Mine is a 6KW diesel silent unit.

Replaced the diodes with 70 amp ones with surge protectors that have 20 times the energy absorbtion as the originals. Unfortunately this required some lathe work to make holders for the diodes and the surge protectors to ride on the rotor.

Used the light bulb trick to remagnitize it once diodes were replaced.

SOURCE: 5500 generator stopped producing eletric after

First check with the dealer and see if it is still under warranty. If it is not, make sure nothing is blocking the air flow around where the control modules are located. This could cause the voltage regulator and other electronic parts to overheat. Next check the brushes and make sure they are free of any dust or build up preventing them from making contact.

If everything is OK the next thing I would do is change the voltage regulator.

I just bought a new generator. A powermate 4350 surge and 3500 running watts. We put fresh gas and oil but it will not stay running. Max is 10 mins then dies.

Sounds like the gas shutoff is closed. When turned off, there's just enough gas to run ~10 minutes. Shutoff is in-line in tbe gas line, near the bottom gas tank.

How can I replace carburetor?

I believe the electric solenoid is a fuel shut off. solenoid needs energized, normally with switch 12 Volts. other then float bowls are the carbs. identical, if they are switch bowls, should work. If not you will have to add switched power to solenoid, the link below looked similar to yours.

I HAVE A GENERATOR HONDA E2500.

the generator is not big enough to run what you want
it needs to be 3500w minimum or 4.5w to be safe
although it is stated at 2500 watts , in fact that is the peak load on electric motor start up and its continuous rating will be around 1.8 watts
all of this is clearly stated on the specs plate on the generator

Generator not making electric

You have a faulty inverter board on the unit. I would warranty the generator in this case, or have the manufacturer send you out a replacement board to swap yourself.

FG5700AK Low oil switch cuts engine almost off and then back on. Changed to lighter oil 10-30 and did not help. If I unhook the low oil switch it runs fine

Use a pressure gauge and make sure you have at least 10 psi, if you do then replace the oil pressure cutoff switch if this switch is bad no oil you put in it will fix the problem. If you don't then you have internal engines problems.

A lighter weight oil will only make the matter worse because its thinner and could actually cause the pressure to drop even further. If you have a low pressure problem you could try a heavier weight oil but its only going to increase it a little bit.

Low oil switch cut engine off and on when cold

It is not the oil switch you need to adjust the heads open the side and check on the settings for both in and out and adjust them according to the manual...in the winter sometimes they do not like heavy oil so check the oil weight and try lighter one
