Why is my Aircare tower humififier flashing CF??

From what you've described, it seems that the "A" setting may be a special or additional mode of operation. It could be an "Auto" or "Adaptive" setting that adjusts the fan speed based on the humidity level in the room, or it could be a specific function designed for a certain type of room. Which model do you have? On the H12 and 696 series models, F indicates refill the humidifier; the reservoir bottle is out of water. The CF means check the filter/wick. Replace the wick if appropriate. The CF message will appear every 720 hours of run time for the humidifier. It will be reset when the unit is unplugged or loses power.

Check Filter Indicator The ability of any humidifier to efficiently supply humidity output relies heavily on the condition of the filter. As the filter loads with impurities it gradually loses its wicking capability. When this happens, moisture output is reduced and the humidifier has to work longer to satisfy the selected setting. This humidifier has a check filter reminder timed to appear after 720 hours of operation. When the Check Filter (CF) message is displayed, disconnect the power cord and check the condition of the filter. If a build-up of deposits or severe discoloration is evident replace the filter to restore maximum efficiency. The CF message is reset when the humidifier is plugged back in.

Fix does not sell parts, however, if you will type "e-bay" in to your search engine, ask the same questions, and you can buy what you want there.

I just changed the filter and it started flashing CF. How do you reset this other than changing the filter?

You have to unplug the unit from the electrical outlet. Just shutting it off won't clear the CF code.

Change the filter then unplug the unit from the electrical outlet and the code will be cleared. Just shutting the humidifier off won't clear the code, it has to be unplugged from the power to clear the flashing CF.
