Clean filter, filter is blocked not letting the air flow through correctly, take the filter out and clean it with warm water and leave to dry before refitting, can use soak but not to much as can damage the filter threads. but warm water will do the job to remove the particles its picked up.

Contrary to the owner's manual, my Aircare (Valiant) Humidifier HD1409 appears to have four (4) fan settings: 1, 2, 3, and "A". Can anyone tell me what "A" setting does?

From what you've described, it seems that the "A" setting may be a special or additional mode of operation. It could be an "Auto" or "Adaptive" setting that adjusts the fan speed based on the humidity level in the room, or it could be a specific function designed for a certain type of room. I recommend checking the owner's manual or contacting the manufacturer directly to find out more information about the specific function of the "A" setting on your Aircare (Valiant) Humidifier HD1409.

What does F mean on aircare humidifier? what does CF mean?

Which model do you have? On the H12 and 696 series models, F indicates refill the humidifier; the reservoir bottle is out of water. The CF means check the filter/wick. Replace the wick if appropriate. The CF message will appear every 720 hours of run time for the humidifier. It will be reset when the unit is unplugged or loses power.

You can find the Owner's manual for many of the Aircare humidifiers on the product page. Start at https://aircareproducts.com/ Then look for your humidifier. The link to the owner's manual is just below the Add to Cart button on the right side of the page. Use the manual to identify the correct filter or wick for your humidifier.

I hope this helps.

I have an essick humidifier and it keeps flashing CF but it continues to run. What does the CF mean.

Check Filter Indicator The ability of any humidifier to efficiently supply humidity output relies heavily on the condition of the filter. As the filter loads with impurities it gradually loses its wicking capability. When this happens, moisture output is reduced and the humidifier has to work longer to satisfy the selected setting. This humidifier has a check filter reminder timed to appear after 720 hours of operation. When the Check Filter (CF) message is displayed, disconnect the power cord and check the condition of the filter. If a build-up of deposits or severe discoloration is evident replace the filter to restore maximum efficiency. The CF message is reset when the humidifier is plugged back in.

I have a DOUGLAS SONIC MIST humififier that is at least 6-8 years old and I need a new filter--do you have a replacement????

Fix does not sell parts, however, if you will type "e-bay" in to your search engine, ask the same questions, and you can buy what you want there.

Have a MA0800, have changed the filter but can't clear the flashing CF display.

You have to unplug the unit from the electrical outlet. Just shutting it off won't clear the CF code.

I have the MA0800 and I have a CF flashing on the display. How do I get rid of this code? If it requires a clean filter, then how do I reset this code once I have a clean filter?

Change the filter then unplug the unit from the electrical outlet and the code will be cleared. Just shutting the humidifier off won't clear the code, it has to be unplugged from the power to clear the flashing CF.
