SOURCE: my treadmill is a proform 345s crosswalk. It

You may have a belt and deck problem. Test by the following procedure: without the power on stand on the walking belt, push the belt in the direction it normally turns, if the belt is very difficult to turn (on most treadmill) this means that you have high belt/deck friction. Apply silicone lubricant between belt and deck beginning laterally at the motor shroud to end of the rear roller on each side
The deck should be smooth without any grooves, pits, or exposed wood. The belt should have a consistent ridged feel from one side of the belt to the other (a belt can be worn out without any sensory signs of a problem). If you feel deep grooves in the deck or uneven wear on the underside of the belt, part replacement is necessary. Visually look at the underside of the belt. It should have a consistent look. Black streaks in the belt are a sign of bottom-layer wear through. Very worn belts will feel smooth in the areas you normally walk- you would think smooth is good but not in belts because the smoother the belt, the more contact area. On occasion, you may have already damaged the DC board if you have high belt/deck friction. If the belt walks freely, you have a different problem. 2. If it passes the belt/deck checks, you may have a DC board output problem. If the belt tests ok and you have a speed variation, try this test:
Set the speed to 2.5 MPH. Let the treadmill run without anyone on the belt. Check to see if the speed is constant or if there is a variation.
If there is no variation, step on the belt. If the speed slows down or speeds up, you may have an output problem on the DC board. This is the board that connects directly to the motor.
You may have a short in the motor. If you turn the machine on and have erratic speed, you could have a problem in the DC board or the motor or both. With a simple multi-meter, you can test on the continuity scale to see if you have a closed circuit between either DC motor lead and the common earth ground. You should always have an open circuit.
You may have a speed signal problem. Your controls on the upper panel send a signal to the lower electronics to help them set the appropriate speed. If there is a problem in the signal generator, the communication links, or in the feedback links, you will have erratic speed operation.
Communications test- Look on the board for a flashing signal as you increase speed on the treadmill. Most boards have a signal feedback test light. If a LED flashes, your communication is ok.
Feedback test- If your unit is equipped with an optical feedback (disk inside a sensor) you can swap the feedback unit with the incline (it is the same part on many Icon machines). If it tests ok, you don’t have a problem here. If it is a magnetic feedback unit, you can test continuity with a multi meter or replace with a new part to test. Many times passing a kitchen magnet in front of the signal will make a speed display on the console if the magnetic sensor is good.
Signal Generator- If you have a problem with the signal generator, your speed will be erratic with either a person on the machine or without a person on the machine. You may even get a speed error code from the unit.

Hello,

unfortunately, the manual for your Proform 345S Crosswalk unit is not available anywhere online. The manufacturers of this Unit did not make it available. I went further searching and couldn't find any.

I would suggest you contact the manufacturer of your Proform 345S Crosswalk via phone or e-mail and request for the manual from them. They might give it to you or direct you to a dealer where you can get the manual.

This is the best you can do to get the manual you are requesting for.

Below are the list available manuals and models for Proform 345S Crosswalk

SOURCE: proform crosswalk 515 control board works but belt won't move/

lube the deck belt, you have deck worn, proceed in according with the instruction manual maintenance. 2) check the drive belt and replace it if necessary and tight 3) tes the input voltage motor, if there are the motor need repair or replace 4) test the output voltage from main board, for input voltage for the main motor, if there are NOT, the board is faulty.
Try if you can RUN the software calibration for diagnose and troubleshooting.
sincerely. God bless you.

Question edited for maker name.
Question moved from Building Materials to a Proform Crosswalk category.

2) You must check the tension in deck belt aprox 3- 4"High aprox from the middle.
