SOURCE: leaking Jado lavatory faucet

It is a rubber gasket that is leaking, Pull the cartridge with a cresent wrench. There will be a paking nut on the top of the cartridge where the handle connects. You should be able to remove this with a pair of pliers. There will be a rubber o-ring inside. Take that to the hardware to to find a replacement to it. It wont be hard to match they keep tons in stock at ace or lowes

SOURCE: Moen One-Handle Kitchen Faucet Leak - Hot Only

http://www.moen.com/browsecatalog/catalog/specpartsearch.cfm?location=TopNavCustomerSupport

Moen uses a cartridge on their faucets. You have to remove the handle. You will find the stem and a small U shaped retainer. Pull the retainer out and pull the cargridge straight up. Sometimes the cartridge is in there pretty tight and you have to pull hard. Once you do this, take the cartridge to your local hardware store. Replace it with the one you have because they have 2 different one. Install it back in the same order it was removed. Hope this helps and good luck.

Slow cold water flow in faucet.

Modern faucets are made to be 'Eco', so less water flow and lower water consumption.

If the water flow is a lot more on the hot side, there there is a fault with the cold. There aren't many reasons.

Stuck shut of valve. Disconnect the braided line and open the valve into a bucket.

Or the ceramic cartridge in the faucet is not correctly lined up.

Or remove the strainer on the head, they can block with debris.

Barclay 4073-PL Diverter Bathcock Tub: Thoughts on why the water pressure is low on the hot spigot but not on the cold, and not on any other faucet in the house?

Debris can get into the shower body/cartridge. Pull out the cartridge and flush the shower body and clean out the cartridge. Sometimes you need to replace the cartridge.

Moen 2 handle bathroom faucet is leaking out of base of the left handle

There is a plastic retainer not with two tabs used for removal. You will need a removal tool to get this retainer off. Any plumbing supply that carries Moen should have this tool.
After removing the retainer nut, the cartridge pulls right out. Good luck!

We have a Delta 172 single handle faucet. We had our hot water heater replaced. Now it takes longer for hot water to get to the faucet. Could debris (calcium build up, etc.) from the replacement get in...

Yes, debris from water heater replacements often breaks lose and gets stuck. The problem could potentially be anywhere between water heater and the faucet. The faucets shut off valves or the Delta faucet cartridge itself. Turn the hot and cold water valves off under the sink and disconnect the water supply lines from the faucet. aim the water supply lines into a bucket and turn the valves on one at a time. If there is a significant reduction in the water pressure and volume on the hot water side, you need to replace the shut off valve. If there is no reduction in water pressure, you need to clean and/or replace the Delta faucet cartridge. Contact Delta to receive free replacement parts.

I just installed a new cartridge in a moen single handle bathroom faucet. Works great except no hot water. The hot water valve is turned all the way on.

try and pull the cartridge out and look in there with a flash light and make sure there isn't any think lodged in the hot water side of the faucet, you might even want to leave the cartridge out and turn the water back on to try and flush it out. alot of times rubber from the old cartridge gets stuck in there as you are pulling the old one out especially if it's stuck in there good

All of a sudden can not get hot water from my Grohe Ladylux plus

I aasume this is single handle

You will need to remove the handle(usually hex screw under lever or bak side covered with small erasure size button

turn water (hot and cold) off under sink

remove the handle

take an adjustible wrench and remove the cartridge it is keyed
so ou can put it back roperly inspect the cartridge for any obstructions

go under sink and slowly turn hot water on and observe if water is coming out of faucet manifold

if water is coming out ok you may have a bad cartridge or had a blockage reinstall cartridge(after youturned water off

turn hot and cold water on under sink and try again

if it works great if not I suggest you take artridge out and replace
