* deleted his Skout profile on purpose
* had his Skout profile deleted by Skout or on the order of some other entity (like a legal or government jurisdiction - court order because of some legal issues)

The same problem happened with me, i couldn't find a way to fix it. But the nearest one is to restore your iphone through itunes.. Thats did work witn me, but you might give it a try .
