Many TVs cannot read a large file system over 32gb. That is fairly normal. There is no fix for this.

Can you try the memory sticks in another PC.
Did you get them from a reputable dealer.
I have known people buy what they thought were 1 gig ram and got fakes. i.e. 512 or 256 meg.

SOURCE: I insert a memory stick and it says

You should purchase online from some secure seller.
Like here, its Sandisk Homepage.
search for the compatible Card from the bottom right tab.

Also Note that DSC -F707 doesn't support more than 128-Mb cards.

If helpful, Kindly DO RATE!
Best Regards.

Depending on how the flash drive is formatted the picture frame may not be able to understand the information on the flash drive. Check the operators manual of your frame for the correct format your flash drive needs to be in order for the frame to read the files. Most of the time formatting to FAT is the safest option

Testimonial: "Very helpful in direting me to look at the formatting of the stick - problem is it is formatted to FAT as is the stick which works OK. No real progres"

Purchased a Technika Model 19-220. 8 months ago never used the DVD recorder because we never had freeserve. Now we are connected to Freeserve the DVD will play DVD's but no accept blanks for recording...

Thanks for posting to Fixya and it is my pleasure to guide you.

"Will not accept blanks for recording it says No Disc."

from Technika manual: Start Quote
VCR/DVD Recorder; I have connected the TV to my VCR or DVD Recorder via SCART but it is not recording. In addition to connecting via SCART, you should connect the aerial cable from the wall socket to your VCR/DVD Recorder and another aerial cable from the VCR/DVD Recorder to the TV." Also; "Check the DVD is a region 2 disc - to change the region of the DVD player, refer to section 'Changing Regions'.

Note: USB record function is only avilable in Digital/Freeview TV/Radio mode. Due to copyright laws and illegal copying/recording it is not possible to record to/from any other input/output source.

DVD MENU: To access this menu, press [MENU] button on the remote control. TV System - Choose from the following options. NTSC; Normally used for discs from North America, Japan etc.
Auto; For both NTSC and PAL. This TV/DVD player is pre-set to play Region 2 DVDs.
Tip: This television contains one TV tuner, therefore it can only record the channel you are watching or record one channel while the television is in standby mode.

Tip: This TV/DVD player is pre-set to play Region 2 DVDs.
End Quote

You can not record to a DVD, according to their manual. That is why you get the no disc error. It does not have the play sector at the beginning of the DVD. You can record to USB Flash Drive however.

Quote:
USB RECORD - DIGITAL/FREEVIEW MODE
Built into this television is a USB record facility. This function is available in Digital/Freeview mode when used in conjunction with a compatible USB memory stick or USB Hard drive. The benefi ts of this are as follows:
• Pause live TV/Radio and then playback, fast forward and rewind (up to live TV)
• One button record, if you decide you want to record the current programme
• Easy programmable recording from the 7 day TV Guide
• Record TV/Radio and watch/listen back on your computer/laptop
Due to the nature of the product, it is necessary to use a high speed USB memory stick (as the TV reads from and writes to the memory stick at the same time, some memory sticks may not be suitable). You can purchase high speed memory sticks from some computer stores, alternatively, we have a selection of tested and compatible memory sticks available to purchase directly from the helpline/web site. These are available in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB. (Please check the web site/helpline for latest specifications and prices). End Quote

Good luck and please post back that you this has solved your problem and click thumbs up of your success or that I can be more helpful.

My memory stick pro duo won't fit into either of the two computers I have available to me, because it's too small. When I try to put it in, it just seems to be way too small.

I advise buying an inexpensive card reader, that accepts different forms of USB flash drives, including yours.

You just plug the USB cable of this card reader into your computer, and insert your Sony memory stick.

How about this one for an example?

Pc beeps five times when swtched on

PC beeps are usually memory-related problems. make sure you are using the right memory for your computer. the specs should be a DDR2 DIMM 240 pin PC2-3200. what specs do you have?
also do you have two 1G memory sticks or just one 2G memory stick? it may be that your computer doesn't accept a 2G memory stick but rather 1G memory sticks. good luck.
