If it still in perfect running condition, An audiophile of LPs should be interested in buying it. I sold my 30 year old Technics SL-1300 mkII for $250

How do I get the Autocue function to work on the Technics SL-D202 direct drive turntable?

Hi,
When you say that the auto cue does not function properly,do you mean that the arm will not lift from the rest onto the record or do you mean that the set down point of the arm on the record is not correct? Or does it not work at all?

Technics multiple play spindle wearing out it seems.

Need the model number. Technics released over 100 turntables between 1970-1990 - so a model number would help us in determining what you need.

On/off switch won't stay turned on

Knob shaft is probably dirty, or has dislodge inside. Unfortunately, you will have to open up your unit to see what is going on inside.

You can view a video on opening these turntables, by going to: TECHNICS REPAIR VIDEOS.

Technics SL-B2 Frequency Generator Servo Automatic Turntable will not play

hello

You need a belt.. Lift up the record support..(platter) Underneath you will see a metal post.. Belt goes around that and the bottom of the plate.(there is a rim) . If the belt is there, motor might be bad..

Technics 1200M3D

These units do not leak oil. What you have there is just the old lubrication oil that is used for the tonearm height based. Nothing to fear, just clean it up. If you want, take it to a service center and have it professionally cleaned.

TECHNICS SL-B280 DUST COVER W/ HINGES

All parts are discontinued for this model. The SL1200MK2 dust cover will not fit this turntable. You can actually have a dust cover made rather simply and cheaply (depending on where you live). Just take the dimensions to a PLEXIGLASS or even a GLASS shop. You can even purchase the Plexiglass yourself, cut it, and glue it together. I would suggest getting it professionally done. You can use any high impact plexiglass. Get something that is resistant to scratches and discoloring.
