I've done everything suggested on this site and several others: clean with warm water swab, clean with soft cloth, run 901 clean, run alignment, etc.
Those printers are not a very good brand as you are locked in to using only their cartridges so go out an git yerself a new printer.
Using water can really do damage, especially if it was not completely dry. Ammonia is way better, rubbing alc is ok. Try another new color cartridge, many times cartages are bad when you get them, also go to Setting / devices / and see if black only is selected as default.

even though you have ink coming out of the cartridge, if it's more than a few months since it's pumped any ink, it can be clogged internally, blotting with paper doesnt always work. Try a new cartridge, or buy a new printer, it's usually cheaper now to get a whole new printer than it is to replace a set of cartridges. consider it's a few years old now

Try wiping the print head with a soft damp cloth - it works for me.

Confirm there is no orange tape across the top of the ink tank If the orange tape is as shown in Figure (A), it is properly removed. If the orange tape is as shown in Figure (B), remove the remaining tape to the level shown in Figure (A). Make sure each ink tank is snapped into the printer.
