Speakers don't seem to be projected the sound....although there is sound coming out of them as well as the sound bar. Thought the speakers would make the sound closer to us. The tv is on mutt.

Are there different settings you could try? Such as a theatre mode or other type.
Mind you if the sound is monaural, old TV shows or movies. Sound will not be spaced but central.

First unplug the a/v receiver and then check tv to see if the audio output is on or internal speakers. With the a/v rec. you should have chosen the variable audio and not leave on int speakers. If this does not work unplug set for at least an hour and try again. You can get additional info from www.ctechnicians.com

SOURCE: no sound coming through tv speakers

Hi.

Some Large flat panel tv sets have seperate speakers that clip on to the side of tv set if you got the manual with the tv does it say about seperate speakers.
Or if it does have speakers with the tv set check that the audio frequency is set to your countries transmission frequency.
Example UK is PAL (I) If your not in uk try and find out what yours is.

SOURCE: rear speakers dont seem to be loud

Your settings in the receiver are not set up properly.
You need to adjust the volume output through the rear channels in your receiver.  Review you manual for set up. The issue is in the receiver, not your speakers most likely

SOURCE: playing the sound of tv through the sound bars speakers

Try going into menu, setup then audio setup in that order on cable box to activate different features on the audio. If you are wanting to run optical you may have to get it activated thru comcast. The optical is not always active.

How to I get me satellite speakers to produce sound on the VIZIO Model: S4251 wB4 sound bar?

I thought these sound bar gadgets, were designed to produce the full 5.1 effect, so the satellite speakers would not be required. Never liked the idea of these things, if you have the room, to accomodate a full 5.1 system, then go with that.. If you have space limitations, a sound bar if a good compromise

My Dell AX510 Soundbar Speaker isn't working, although the blue light is on, indicating it has power. I'm using a Dell monitor that is set up primarily for Playstation usage.

Ensure that the sound is actually supposed to be coming through the speakers. Just because the power is on doesn't mean that audio information is actually on it's way to the actual speakers. Maybe the television volume is low or muted, maybe the output volume is being routed somewhere else, or maybe the soundbar is broken. You should investigate and follow the signal to find the problem.

Although my turntable seems to be fine there is hardly any sound coming through my amp/speakers from it. I'm using a different power lead for it since I've lost my original but it fits fine an

your needle has worn down, or the RCA leads(red & white) arn't plugged in to the phono socket on the amp,or you haven't selected phono on the source select,or you have the tape monitor button switched on.

My iLIVE mod# IT188b will not turn on.... reset button not working either??? this is the second unit I have had(first one did the same thing)but was able to return without reciept...not the case this time!...

This particular unit has issues with bad solder connections on the main audio board which come loose because the woofer speaker vibrates them loose. I've repaired unit myself with a soldering iron.
