If Showmax say that the model is not supported, then you will never get Showmax on the JVC, till they allow it.
You can ask JVC about it. If there is an adapter.
If you have just bought the TV, you could ask the dealer for a trade in to one that does support Showmax.

" Source " are trying to view programs on TV
Is it on the TV built in tuner or on the AV 'Input " ?
If ever you are watching through RF input , have you
tried connecting it using AV input?
If using AV INput have you tried other connecting cable?
or post cable you are presently connected.

Please confirrm if the connection given is to the port that supports the signal as the message indicates.
If this is the RF signal then it must go to the RF tuner input of the Tv.
If the set top box is used you will need to connect the video and audio outputs to the corresponding video and audio inputs of the TV.
Please confirm if this has been followed.
