HP 8510W mobile workstation power on problem

My HP 8510W mobile workstation will not power on. This is not a new machine and has worked normally for some time before this problem started. When I press the power on button, the yellow power LED blinks 8 times but otherwise nothing at all happens. I have tried changing the power cable but no difference. Any ideas?

Try to get out the batery, and power up. If the result is the same, try to change the power module. If the result is the same, maybe the motherboard has a problem. Sorry

Open Device Manager and revert to the earlier drivers, or just delete the device. Restart the computer and try other drivers if you're not happy with the current drivers. Don't get updated drivers from Windows Update, always download from nVidia or whatever graphics card you have. HP should have drivers intended specifically for your notebook, which takes their setup into account..

Flashing orange light generally indicates battery low charge could be your battery at fault
the next time you try and power on and it doesnt work, take the battery out (unplug AC) and try to run just on AC power
hope helps, let me know if can help further

WILL NOT CHARGE.AC ADAPER IS FINE ANS ALSO THE BATTERY IS FINE

Does the AC adapter works fine wth other computer? Does the power light glow at the power cord connection. It can be a motherborad issue for the power port that may be loose. Try changing the angle of the power cord and see if it works.
