The easiest way to put it in factory reset mode is to unpair it from your account.
or reset

  1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer or any UL-certified USB wall charger.
  2. Clip the other end of the charging cable to the port on the back of the tracker. The pins on the charging cable must lock securely with the port.
  3. Make sure the button on your tracker is aligned with the button opening on the charging cable. You'll know the connection is secure when the tracker vibrates and you see a battery icon on your tracker's display. Your Charge 2 will begin charging.
  4. Press and hold the button on your tracker for four seconds. When you see the Fitbit logo and the tracker vibrates, this means the tracker has restarted.
  5. Unplug your tracker from the charging cable.

My Fitbit Alta is not charging!

1. First, clean the charging cable on the back of your Fitbit device and the pins on your cable because maybe it is just dirty since any devices can accumulate dust. Check your manual for the instructions.
2. Double-check if your USB port is not faulty or try a different USB port - make sure it is compatible.
3. Make sure your Fitbit device tracker is securely connected to the charging cable.
4. If it still doesn't work "Restart your Fitbit device tracker", maybe it just malfunctioned.
5. Make sure your Fitbit tracker device is not wet.

Fitbit charge HR users manual

Fitbit has the manuals for most of their products on their support site. For the Charge HR, see http://help.fitbit.com/?p=charge_hr . The link to the manual is the first link in the line "Charge HR Resources" near the top of the web page. The direct link is https://staticcs.fitbit.com/content/assets/help/manuals/manual_charge_hr_en_US.pdf .

I hope this helps.

My battery is charged but showing empty on computer. I restarted it but still showing empty.

with computer turned off take out battery and wipe off contacts then reinstall battery. If it is still empty after letting it sit a bit to see if it is charging you either have a bad battery or the charger in the computer is bad . that is an expensive fix. usually not worth the money unless you have an expensive computer and then that probably would not happen.
