Hi If they both have NFC it's a simple job of turning on the NFC icon on both devices & placing them back to back .check in tools or settings if they have it.....cheers

Have you tried a reset? It clears up many problems that just happens for no reason. To delete books from your device, go to Amazon an use thier Manage my Kindle it removes them completely.
