How is the handle attached to the oven door of lofra oven

I had the same problem. We took the door off completely & turned it upside down. There are screws on the bottom of the door, take them out, take off bottom trim piece that holds the outside glass panel in place, remove glass panel and you can access the door handle screws and clean the inside of the glass while you are at it.

you are screwed I am in the same position. Tonight I am going to the store where I bought it with a baseball bat and intend to smash the owners legs.

I had the same problem and took the door apart. The hinge has a spring inside which is held in place by a long rivet. The metal of the rivet is too soft and it bends and snaps. You cannot get a replacement hinge anywhere. I even tried Italy and France. Lofra won't speak to you by e-mail or phone. The next thing that happened was the element disintegrated in the ovan. These are the worst cookers on the market.
