Hi, have you tried holding the top power button and the round home button together. This will perform a soft restart (nothing will be deleted or changed) but may start it up for you.
SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the metal contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card.
did you check your home button key? does it function well? if thats your problem you must have to open your phone and clean the home button key. (warning: it might break the warranty if it is still under warranty). all you have to do is open it, remove the screws and wipe the home button key using a clean cloth wet by alcohol. i hope that will help you solve your problem. 1. unplug ac adapter then remove the battery.
2. press and hold the power button for a minute.
3. put the battery back, plug in ac adapter.
4. turn on the mini .
if it does not work, see if light glows on the power jack.
