Can't get ipod sound on pioneer avic x910bt

I just got my nav system installed and everything works great. However when trying to play my ipod, the screen is showing that it is playing but there is no sound. I set the AV1 settings according to the manual but still no sound. Any advice?

Pioneer x910bt. no sound with iphone/ipod

if you are using the av ipod cable that plugs into the usb and the red, white, yellow rcas, you will have change a setting in the audio section for the audio to work, if you go into the AV settings, the first option with say AV1 input, press it until it changes to IPOD. you should then have audio, if that doesn't work, the the rcas are improperly connected to the radio. hope this helps

My ipod wont play on my AVIC F910BT

I don't know if you fixed it already this iPod sound trouble, but I got ot also and found how to fix this trouble.
In fact there's a setup to do and mention in the User Manual (page 89 on the english one) the AV1 config should be selected as iPod

Using an iPod (iPod) Starting procedure
Connect your iPod.
No sound or video output if iPod is selected
as AV source, check the setting in “AV1
Input” on the “AV System Settings” menu.

Loose sound to left side

I have the same EXACT problem. Most of the time only the right speaker plays and the left doesn't but when they both play its very distorted. I've tried everything. Resetting the ipod does not work and its not the ipod because when I use it on my fiance's avic-x910 its perfect. If I remove my head unit and play with the wires its fixed but only for a short while. I've soldered the connections so they are solid but I still have this issue. Any help?
