Have you tried booting from a Windows XP CD? If you have one available you can boot from it, delete the partition and format it. Works all the time for me.

When i format the harddisk that its completly format so i restart the pc but all the partitions comes back. i format again n again but same problem facing and when i delete all data then i restart the pc...

You'll need to debug your Hard disk to remove your partitions, you will be also needing windows 98 as your temp. OS to the debugging

See microsoft issue regarding "Debugging a hard disk" for you to be guided accordingly

Try formatting / partitioning the drive with windows xp setup / installation cd. If you are trying to format or delete partition in windows and its your c: drive you will not be able to do that.

Remove the bad sector from samsung sp0411n

Although A format could help it sounds more like you have some bad sectors on the harddrive.

Right click on the drive, select properties, then select the tools menu and initiate a disk check. it will give you an option screen before it proceeds, select the option to scan for a recover bad sectors/clusters. This will write off and mark the bad sectors so they will not be used again. If the problem comes back again soon then your palette media is failing and you should replace the drive.

Good luck and let us know how you make out,
