Have a Danze 063-3026-2 tub/shower faucet. I gained the unit with no installation information, How do I install the tub sprout? Does it just push on to the 1/2" copper? Thank you.

shut off your water and pull the cartridge out off unit...make sure you have no trash in cartridge...turn water on without cartridge in but only part way to see if you have water flow to value...then make sure no damage to cartridge or some of these have plugs that need removed on install of cartridge....you may need to remove test plug that is in there ....try this...good luck

you have to replace diverter....if its in the tub spout unscrew and go to lowes or plumbing supply and match up style and replace...use pipe dope and screw back on tight...good luck

You have what is called water hammer effect going on the water pressure is to high this can cause problems with all you plumbing fixtures. You need to have a water hammer arestor install or put a main line pressure reducing valve in.

Don't cover area where plastic guard should be. Make it flush. Some trim is designed to recess into the wall before it's flush. Screws, adapters, trim etc. all will need to be installed when tile is set. Make sure you have nipples extending out from shower head and spout area's as well. If you do this and think ahead a little, you will have fewer problems assembling trim.

If flow is slow to shower,pull showerhead,small watersaver hole and screen have garbage in it,teflon tape-rust sand etc Tub spout working fine?

Replace valve canister- no construction- just remove after taking time to shut off water- a few screws and the job takes 15 minutes. I take for granted you have good water hot/cold to the fixture. This fix will cure most temperature balance problems.
The single lever system is a EZ care system. Note the canister can malfunction faster when exposed to untreated hard water.

You didn't indicate exatcly what model. Check this link, and follow the install instructions. It tells you how to secure each type (3 different methods) One is a screw in the side with a cover over the screw.

I had the same problem and just now fixed it.  Remove the faucet head - the tub filler - and pull out the diverter tube insert.  It's the valve at the bottom that's sticking - probably because of calcium or mineral deposits.  I washed mine with white vinegar and pushed a wooden spoon handle down the tub to unstick the valve, scrubbed it with vinegar and a toothbrush and re-installed.  Works perfectly now.

your husband is 100% correct unless you change the shower head or take the one off that is there and take out the little plastic filter thats right inside where it screw on to the shower arm,, easy fix
