How do i get a currency symbol (like the pound symbol) on the Casio SE-G1 cash register?

Try this:

Turn key to Program mode.
2 SUBTOTAL
123 SUBTOTAL
Now get out your programming sheet for the keyboard.
Press SPACE then the POUND symbol
CASH
SUBTOTAL

Just let me know if you have any trouble.

I Suppose that is Casio SE-S300 Model :
To change Date,
1. Key turn to PGM
2. Press [1] [Subtotal]
3. Input today's date, eg : 8 March 2010
Press [1] [0] [0] [3] [0] [8]
4. Press [X/Date/Time]
5. Key turn back to REG
6. O.K.

I haven't used that setting before. If you have fully activated it, you should see many changes along with the dollar sign such as tax break down and GST receipt message. If so, I think this should work:
Turn key to X mode 01012001 SUBTOTAL SUBTOTAL
If the only change is the currency symbol, don't do the above, just let me know.

Casio te-m80md

Hi.
The TE-M80 is only a very simple machine. It does not seem to have the usual currency symbol setting. we don't have the MD series. Ours is the E series, so there may be variations. If you have the manual in pdf form, I could look through it for you to see if you have the option.
