How do I reset Mackie blackbird if it is not recognized on my computer. It powers on just alright but doesnt connect to the computer

Sounds like a problem with the horn amp in that cabinet. This is not a user fixable problem and needs to go to the shop. Here is a link to the Mackie support page where you can find a link to the repair shop list.

Yes, get some TRS to XLR (Male) cables or adapters and plug them into either the monitor or alt outs, set your routing and levels and away you go.

Are you sure the xlry cable is balanced? there are balanced and unbalanced xlrs. For phantom to work, you need a balanced xlr cable.

On the Mackie ProFX12 pan all the inputs to the LEFT and take the LEFT output and ran that to the Model II Power Stand Analog Input. Here is an article with all the details.

What do you mean by It was working, now it is not, exactly? When it was working you switched on and various things happened. What's different now?

Can you not be more sure about the burning or overheating?

How would a computer, rather than a program, recognize it anyway?

If you've done all the troubleshooting, what was that, exactly? What results did you get?

you can just piggyback the mixers - take the outputs from the mackie mixer (assuming it is NOT a powered mixer) ... those should be line level outputs - send them into a line level input on the digi 002 and then set that channel on the digi 002 and once set, just leave it, and control the mackie channels individually ... should work fine ...

find reset button hole in it and press the reset button and your MP3 work fine again.thanx for choosing fixya.

Have you tried resetting it? Press the center (Select) button and the Menu button at the same time and hold for at least 10 seconds or until you see it reset.
