SOURCE: Toilet Bowl Water Level Slowly Drops

Check the fill tube in your toilet one easy way to see if it's leaking is get food coloring and pour in your tank to color the water this makes it easier to see and squeeze the tube in the tank when it's full if you see the colored water running down the middle of it you have a winner! if not you can look around for it sometimes the plastic under the flapper gets cracked too

SOURCE: Toto flapper seems ok but toilet keeps slow trickle into the bowl

The water inlet valve should close completely and stop water from coming into the tank before the water level reaches the "small tube." (This is the overflow tube.)

There may be an o-ring or rubber gasket inside the valve that can be replaced. If not, you would have to replace the water inlet valve.

My Jacuzzi toilet is making a foghorn sound after flushing. I read in FAQ to close the fill valve slightly but I don't know how to do this. Please help.

IF there is a valve on the water line in the toilet close this off it should turn clockwise to slow down the pressure

Flow of water into american standard toilet tank is very slow and does not fill up to water mark

Adjust the level of the float, water level should be about 1/2" below top of overflow pipe. Slow filling can be due to a build up of calcium in fill vale, a partially blocked water valve, the washer many times gets deteriorated by the chlorine in the water, breaks up and clogs the fill line. Also many manufacturers (fluid-master in particular) place water restrictors inside the bottom of the fill tubes, which cause the water to fill much slower.

Toilet is very slow filling tank with water to flush

look inside the reservoir. There is a cylinder sticking up at about water level or above. That cylinder should have a small hose (tube) going into the top of it attached with a small clip. This helps fill the bowl with water. These come off from time to time and just fall down into the water and dont do what they are supposed to do. Hopefully this is the problem.

My jacuzzi toilet won't quit filling, I have adjusted the fill valve and that hasn't worked. I read a post about a small metal clip below the fill valve, mine is red plastic but it fell off when I...

You gonna have to replace the whole fill valve mechanism. Go to the hardware store and get the Korky brand, because they work like a champ and they are super quiet. Don't buy Fluid Master because they clog easily and are junk. Learned that the hard way after having to 3/4 of them on a 42 unit apartment complex.

I have a Jacuzzi Perfecta toilet (bought Aug. 21, 2008) at Lowe's. I have the sales ticket. The toilet works fine. The tank fills very slowly (2 minutes) before it shuts off. It also makes a whistling...

Have you tried shutting water off and take top of valve appart and flush it out. It may have something in valve causing water to be restricted. It will have an arrow on it to direction to get it to come off.

Take appart and clean rubber disc and you can put something over top of valve , a small cup or something to enable you to flush the tank. Have someone help you and hold the cup above the valve so that when you turn water on for a few bursts to flush out the valve it goes into tank.

The actual stream that flows through valve is restricted down to almost 1/8 " opening so it wouldn't take mush to block the flow of water.

The disc you take out you can replace it, if it seems to be damaged and not working correctly. That will affect the flow also.

Replacing flush valve jacuzzi toilet

A fluid master should be universal and as long as it will allow the water to reach set mark on overflow pipe.

Basement toilet drains slow sometimes ,other times doesnt want to go down all the way. seems as if there is no pressure to remove waste

if the toilet is old or not cleaned proper, the water jets that shoot the water into the bowl might be clogged. If the jets are clogged with moldor hard water build up the toilet will not flush proper. If you can take a 3 gallon bucket of water and pour straight into the bowl and it flushes fine you have a water pressure problem as described above. the problem also might be that your water inlet system is not letting in enough water to fill the tank. If this is the problem you need to replace the water inlet mechanisim, such as a fluid master. If you use a blue water device that hangs on the side of the tank in the back of the toilet you might have a peice of it under the flapper that takes the water to the bowl when being flushed. Check under the flapper if you put cleaners in the tank.
