SOURCE: My Velodyne DPS-10 subwoofer hums when you plug in

hi,
You have to check the RCA cable to the sub woofer. The RCA cabe have two connections inside it, one is for gain and the other is for ground sheild. If the ground sheild is broken then there will be hum from the sub woofer and it will increase if you touch the ground (rear metal pannel is connected to the ground). Replace the cable and check it again.
ok

Need the Velodyne VX-11 fuse location & type ¿?

Already answered for DPS-12 in 2011 which suggests a fuse where the power enters, However, your manual mentions no fuse, but 'protection circuitry'. If there is a fuse, it will be inside and on a circuit board. All fuses have the rating on the end cap of glass fuses and on the side of ceramic fuses, which as also colour coded.

Where is fuse in velodyne dps-12

Just a guess, but the drawing in the manual shows a fuse rating of 2 amps where the power cord enters the box. Is this a combination fuse/connector. Have you looked if the rocker switch accommodates a fuse? Sorry if no help.

Wont power up dts10

I'm having an issue with my Velo DLS5000R. I pulled the amplifier, and inside the plate, where the power cord goes in, is a small 8amp glass-tube-type fuse. You might try checking for one on your sub.
