SOURCE: cant connect printer to wireless laptop.

have you setup the wireless connection in between the printer and the laptop...
your laptop is working wirelessly with the internet but for making the printer to use it wirelessly the printer should be also a wireless printer.

and if the printer is a wireless printer then you have to setup the connection in between the printer & laptop to work wirelessly.

SOURCE: Barely hear music from ipod when connected in aux Alpine CDA9835

Are you connecting the ipod through the green that is sticking out the back of the unit? If this is the case this is the amp output. I first hooked my ipod to this and has the same problem you describe. You actually need to purchase this part KCA-121B-Auxiliary-Input-Adapter.html">http://www.crutchfield.com/S-a7wrrbtQT1B/p_500KCA121B/Alpine-KCA-121B-Auxiliary-Input-Adapter.html in order to hook up your ipod up.

SOURCE: Insignia NS-BTHDP ok with phone, pairs with PC but can't connect

Make sure the headphones are set as "default" under Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Sound>Manage Audio Devices - same for microphone if you're using it for online speech.

SOURCE: I installed the motion sensor

Leviton manuals:
http://www.leviton.com/OA_HTML/ibeCCtpSctDspRte.jsp?section=17219&minisite=10022

A quick peek inside a sample Leviton manual confirms that your wires are connect correct - BUT...
http://waterheatertimer.org/pdf/Leviton-motion-Instructions.pdf

The remaining 3-way switch needs a jumper wire.
See if your instruction manual shows the same thing as image below.
Let's go through this.
The yellow wire connects to a traveler ... and that traveler connects to one of the brass screws on 3-way switch.
The black wire from Motion sensor also connects to a traveler wire ... BUT you have to identify which traveler wire and which brass screw that traveler wire connects to. And then, put a jumper wire (a short piece of wire) from that brass screw to the dark-colored screw.
I think that will do it.
Add a comment if your device is different.

Some of these electronic devices are reversed when two of their wires are connected together.
That's what the jumper wire is doing. So the 3-way switch is just connecting and disconnecting the black and yellow wires, and that action reverses the circuit in the motion device.

SA AK27 panasonic system?

If you use a 3.5mm jack to whatever the type of sockets on your set are called Aux in. Probably Phono or RCA sockets.
Set your Panasonic to AUX, volume at about 1/4, play your laptop with the lead connected from your output socket on the laptop. Adjusy the volume to suit your requirements.

Re Sony VAIO F12 (new unit): Audio is barely audible using onboard and external speakers, even though volume bar indicates volume is at highest level. Any way to increase audio volume? Thanks.

1. Yes, check to see if you have the volume up for the wave file turned up that is on the program you are using to listen to the Mp3 or sound wave with.
2. check the speaker connector/ Use another speaker that is know to be good and test. Use a set of earphone in the output jack also to test the output.
If these things are doing the same then you have failing sound card and it needs replacement.

Low volume on my HP Pavilion dv6-1245

Open the audio panel (settings -> control panel -> Sounds and audio devices -> volume). Check that the volume slide is all the way to the right. Also, click on the "speaker volume" button and check it is all the way to the right

Not receiving information

The same thing happened to me, and I'm just hitting the two-year mark with this thing. I tested it using the aux speaker leads and that still works. So it is only the little front-panel speaker that is broken. And I checked the leads on that little speaker, and they seem fine. So it is the little speaker itself that broke. Easiest repair is to connect the aux leads (red and brown) to another speaker.

The speakers work but at a very reduced level. Turned all the way up we can barely hear. It happened all of a sudden. When speaker level is on 100, it is barely audible. I tried all audio settings but...

Could be either an amplifier failure or a short in the speaker connection. For the latter, try removing and cleaning the speaker connections at both the unit and at the speakers. Then reconnect the wire, being sure to return the leads to their former location such that you don't accidentally reverse the leads.
