If bose unit has built in amplifier .Then your sherwood would have to have a variable RCA output jacks in order to work with sub. Then bose audio input RCA cable would connect there. If bose unit does not have built in amp .Then you would connect sherwood left/right speaker outputs into bose left/right inputs .Then other bose speakers will connect to bose unit

How do i wire up my sherwood rx-4105 reciever for a subwoofer

If the amp has no subwoofer channel then you take the right and left channels to the speakers and feed them in the subwoofer first, then out to the left and right speakers.

How do I hook up Pioneer GR 470 EQ to my Sherwood RX 4105 receiver? I have Pioneer M403 's changer hooked up already

Normally you would hook up the EQ to the tape recorder in and outs of the Sherwood. This way if it has a tape monitor button, you can press that and all the functions would pass into the EQ.

I have a Sherwood RX-4105 Receiver and I am getting no sound through my speakers and the connection with the wires is good so its not that. Any Idea on whats wrong?

when you turn your computer you should hear a sound of a relay initially and after about two seconds another sound, is the closure of the speaker relay models if you do not hear the sounds, the team has some short audio output.

Does the sherwood rx 4105 receiver have analog or digital inputs

Unfortunately the RX-4105 is a stereo only receiver with only analog L/R inputs. You will have to find a stereo output & go in through one of the stereo inputs.

Sherwood RX-4105 Receiver will not stay on

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but your unit has either a bad power supply or bad transistors and need serviced. Under 200 for the repair however, I'm not sure what the unit sells for new but weight the costs vs replacement. Hope this helps

Sherwood rx-4105 output transistors

You can also use 2SD2560 and 2SB1647 130watt 150volt 15amp transistor, but it may require some rebiasing the on output transistors. Sherwood have used these transistors in their older model receivers. I just replaced those transistors in my Sherwood RX-4105 Receiver, and they work good as well.

Before I install those transistor. I did a out of circuit 20volt 4amp DC current test to a 4ohm resistor @ 200watt load to compare 2SD2560 / 2SB1647 to the B2510/B1510 mounting them on 5 square inch, 1/8" thick piece of Aluminum, and the results of the test, the 2SD2560 / 2SB1647 heats up in 60 seconds to around 120 degrees F, and the B2510 and D1510 heats up in 30 seconds to around 120 degrees F.

FM Tuner in Sherwood RX-4105 stopped working

Check your antenna connections. Make sure your FM antenna is hooked up to the FM antenna terminal or jack on your Sherwood receiver. If you have the antenna hooked through the coaxial cable, check your coaxial cable with an ohmmeter for continuity. You can buy a volt-ohm meter as little as $12. Usually bad connection occur between coaxial cable and the the coax cable connectors. If that doesn't solve the problem, then there may be something wrong with your tuner card inside of your Sherwood receiver.

If you receivers display does not change channels or frequencies or AM or FM mode, when you try to change the channel or frequencies, or AM or FM mode, there may be something wrong with the front board of your receiver.

If there is something internally wrong your Sherwood receiver, you need to take it to a qualified technician that can fix it. Do not try to repair it yourself. If you don't know what you're doing, you can do far more damage to that Sherwood receiver to the point that would be very costly to repair.

Before you take your Sherwood receiver to a technician, try to unplug the receiver, and leave it unplugged for several minutes, and then plug it back in. If that doesn't solve the problem, then you need to take your Sherwood to a qualified technician.

Heavy static noise

Sounds like interference getting in caused by your connecting cables. Suggest upgrading to higher quality ones.
