Machine just back from the shop for timing repair
THE ANSWER YOU HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!!!
Here is the official problem (straight from singer technical support). The drivers from Jungo are unsigned and windows no longer allows unsigned drivers to be installed. To install the drivers you have to change your computer settings to allow unsigned drivers to be installed and then install the software so the drivers install properly. Here are the steps I took.
1. Uninstall software
2. Restart computer
3. Temporarily allow unsigned drivers. A quick google search will give you directions on how to do this. (If you permanently allow unsigned drivers make sure to change that back after installation so you don't leave your computer vulnerable.)
4. Install the software. You will have to grant permission to all the drivers and software.
5. Install the software update on singer website for your machine
6. Turn on machine and start the software. It should work!
7. Restart computer. This resets your computer settings to block unsigned drivers from installing to protect your computer (if you permanently disabled drivers now is the time to block all unsigned drivers). Don't worry the software will still work since the drivers have already been installed!
If it still doesn't work contact singer technical support.

You have to plug in your usb cable to the same port everytime. It will act like your machine is not there if you plug your cable into any other port.

My experience follows: If operating system is Windows Vista go to Singer Futura web site and down load a patch. Make sure you read and get the right one...This worked for me on one computer operating Vista...However, my laptop that is operating on Windows 7 and doesnt have the patch yet...from what I have read it is in the works waiting to be approved by Microsoft - Very Frustrating!

This problem has to be with the communication between the arm and the main machine. Make sure the arm is leveled, to do so, very carefully move the arm higher or lower, this creates the connection between the arm and machine. When I find where the off level is successful I put a thick cardstock (or stable flat object) under the arm. When the communication is successful and the machine is on hooked to the computer the embroidery arm should move. Good Luck!
