Frigidaire uprite freezer won't cool

I understand that your Frigidaire freezer is currently not working in the new outlet. I would adjust the temperature to a lower setting to see if that would start the compressor to start cooling. I understand that the light and alarm are working fine on your Frigidaire freezer, model# FFU2065FW1. I also see that you are receiving power to the control module, however it is blank. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power and try adjusting the temperature. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully.

HI Not sure if you have checked . BUT i would check to make sure the cooling fan is clear and not blocked. Dust and dirt and cat hair and dog hair can collect in and around the vents and and keep it from cooling properly. If it is the type of condenser that is on the back of unit then disregard.

If you have a digital readout then set it for 0F...if you do not have the temperature read out then place a thermometer inside and adjust the thermostat till you get to the 0F mark..

Freon running through the feon lines can make some odd noises, usually a gurgling or higher pitched noise. If your freezer works fine with no more strange noises, then don't worry about it. If you have temperature problems or continue to have abnormal noises, then see if your freezer has the 5 year sealed system warrantee that most freezers have. If it does, and it is under 5 years, then call Frigidaire to come out to check it out for free. If it is out of warrantee you will need to live with it or replace the freezer, since a freon sealed system repair is very high. Good Luck, Appliance Specialists

It's probable that you've lost refrigerant in the cooling system. Unfortunately, leaks in those systems can be hard to find so check your warranty to see if the labor is still covered.

3 possible reasons ...1 thermostat is bad or is set to high....2 bad compressor start relay or bad compressor...3 freon leaked out...when you plugged it back in did compressor run...if no check thermostat....check relay..its mounted on side of compressor...if yes then low freon...

sounds like a leak in the system if under 5 years call frigidaire if not get a whirlpool

You did nothing wrong. I believe it was faulty at the time of purchase. Return for refund
