This Timex watch has a set button on top left, mode button on bottom left, start/stop button on top right and split/reset on bottom right of watch. Directions were lost. It has Indiglo and water resistant written on the face. On the back it says Timex WR30M, has a sticker that says T78587 and at the bottom has the numbers 555 39.

Since you have changed to the newest program I cannot get in the watch program I was using to set the watch. Please help.

Go to the time mode,hold down the set button, it may take a couple of seconds and it will start blinking , then go to your mode button to move from seconds to hour to min etc.etc,etc. It probibly is your start/stop button for chaning the numbers. If that dosn't work, hold down the mode button on the time mode for a few seconds, and go from there.

It is either a screw on case back or a "snap-on. I suspect that it is the latter since you don't mention that you used a tool to unscrew the case back. So getting the back on sometimes is very difficult. I have a special tool for that to apply even pressue and the necessary force and does not put pressure on the crystal. You have to be careful to not damage the crystal. If you don't get it done, then suggest you take it to a shop that has the right tool. If you have very strong thumbs you might get it done.
