SOURCE: i need to adjust Timex

Go to the time mode, hold down the set button, it may take a couple of seconds and it will start blinking , then go to your mode button to move from seconds to hour to min etc.etc,etc. It probibly is your start/stop button for chaning the numbers. If that dosn't work, hold down the mode button on the time mode for a few seconds, and go from there.

SOURCE: Can't get the back plate of a Timex Indiglo WR30M watch back on

It is either a screw on case back or a "snap-on. I suspect that it is the latter since you don't mention that you used a tool to unscrew the case back. So getting the back on sometimes is very difficult. I have a special tool for that to apply even pressue and the necessary force and does not put pressure on the crystal. You have to be careful to not damage the crystal. If you don't get it done, then suggest you take it to a shop that has the right tool. If you have very strong thumbs you might get it done.

Hello, Well the problem is that I had bought this watch that was a pink 1441 sports timex watch. And the problem was that I haven't been able to adjust the time on the watch! It has 4 buttons. The top...

Hi Krystal,

Timex has two ways to find information about your particular watch. Some of these models only have a guide consisting of a few pages. If your watch is the 1440 series, the following info may help you. If you don't have the manual, Try this link:

If your watch is the W-207 movement use this guide:
http://assets.timex.com/user_guides/W207_M115/W207_M115_NA_EN.pdf

Complete Timex link site:
http://www.timex.com/info/Product_Instruction_Guides_Downloads

Now, look up the model number, or if you cannot find that, check the three-digit Module Number from the back of the watch. Click on it in the Module Table, and download a PDF of your watch setting-instructions/manual.

If you need more specialized help, call Timex in Little Rock, Arkansas at 1-800-448-4639.

I hope this helps you. Thanks, Bill

Timex Indiglo WR 30M

to turn off hourly chime on the times wr 30m, simply press (in any mode, i just use the regular clock mode) the start/stop button (top right hand button) once (for about half a second).
if you don't hear anything, you've turned off the hourly chime!  if you hear two short beeps, you've turned on the hourly chime.    turning the chime off/on is cyclic.  if you press once and hear nothing, it's off.  if you press again, you'll hear two beeps and the hourly chime is now on.    a lot of times that button hits my wrist (i wear it on my left hand) by accident, and that's how the chime turns on and off.  i hope this helps someone.

Setting watch

Press and hold the top left button (mode) until the numbers start blinking. On mine this is the alarm time set. Press the mode button one more time to get to time set. The hour will be blinking. Press top right button (start/stop) to cycle through hour, minute, date, etc. and press bottom right button (adjust) to change the number which is flashing. Press mode to finish.

To turn off alarm, press and HOLD Adjust button, then press Start/Stop to cycle through alarms on/off.
