Hi, I am trying to print photo quality pictures and my printer is printing poorly. I bought the recommended HP Photo Print Cartridges and I run the alignment, etc. All seems to be good until I go to print. When I print the color and also when I use the gray scale both print very light and poor quality with noticable lines through the image. I can not seem to find my manual? Can you please help me? Thank You!!!
Courtney
There are some tips to make the print quality higher:
1. Use photo paper. Photo paper often makes a huge difference in your print quality. Image and words printed on this kind of photo paper will look much clearer.
2. Change your printer settings. For the best quality, you may choose a higher printing quality printer, and get some higher quality settings to it. After clicking on the "print" button, a panel will pop up. Navigate to "Properties > Best Photo > OK" to print the best quality photos.
3. Enhance photo quality before printing. There are many photo enhancers on the market, but most of them are complicated to improve photo quality and clarify the resolution. Therefore, AI photo enhancer
would be recommended here, for it can enhance photo quality automatically.
You can download the manual from Software & Downloads here.
Then work through this article and see here to diagnose the printing problem. Make sure the print quality is set for photos in the print preferences or properties.
You might try cleaning the cartridge contacts as described here.
Make sure you are using a good quality paper, that it is feeding correctly,
I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
