IF YOUR PICTURES ARE BLURRY IN THE LCD, THEN YOU MOST LIKELY DO HAVE A PROBLEM. WAS THIS CAMERA BOUGHT ON AN AUCTION OR SECOND HAND, THAT YOU ARE NOT SURE IF IT WAS DROPPED? IF IT WAS DROPPED, IT MAYBE REPAIRABLE, BUT REPAIRS ARE USUALLY EXPENSIVE AND SOMETMES IT'S BETTER TO INVEST IN A NEWER CAMERA. SORRY, BUT I DON'T WANT YOU SHOCKED BY REPAIR ESTIMATES. FROM WHAT I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO FIND OUT, THE REPAIR COST WILL EXCEED THE COST OF THE CAMERA. SORRY. SO, CHECK THE LCD AND IF THE PICTURE THERE IS ALSO BLURRY, THE CAMERA PROBABLY HAS BEEN DROPPED AND OCCURRED SHOCK DAMAGE . IF THE LENS WAS OUT WHEN IT WAS DROPPED, YOU MIGHT TRY TO GENTLY PULL ON THE LENS WITH THE CAMERA ON. THIS SOMETIMES WILL ALIGN THE LENS AGAIN. HOPE THIS HELPS. IF YOU NEED MORE HELP, REPLY TO ARCLIGHT1217. IT THIS WAS HELPFUL, PLEASE RATE!
THANKS!
Make sure the lens is clean. Exhale on it and wipe carefully with a lens tissue. You also may want to set the "image quality" setting to "High."

Are you pressing the shutter button half-way and giving the camera time to lock in the focus before pressing the rest of the way? If not, the good pictures were just luck. The size of the card has nothing to do with it.

The lens barrels are jamming someplace. wen the camera moves the lens out immediately pop out the battery so that it stays and then turn the zoom from the outer most barrel in the direction it comes out side. Do not force it too much. If that works fine other wise take it to the service center

Next to the viewfinder ther is a diopter adjustment so you can change the focus in the viewfinder. this is so if you need glasses the camera can be set for you. Start by focusing the camera on something, then slide to turn the diopter adjustment until it looks sharp and try not to bump it.
