Hi, how do I find out how many MB my Samsung SPH- M350 has? Is it 128 or 256 mb?

SOURCE: BIOS detects only 128 MB instead of 1024 MB

Can you try the memory sticks in another PC.
Did you get them from a reputable dealer.
I have known people buy what they thought were 1 gig ram and got fakes. i.e. 512 or 256 meg.

when you push it un , try using your funger nail to push it in as far as you can(but not too far) and it will stay in if you do it right

Make sure that you got the right memory module with this specs:

Memory

  • DDR266 (266 MHz) so-DIMM 200 pin
  • 2 DIMM slots; upgradable to 1 GB total memory (512 MB x 2)

there's a step by step troubleshooting for memory modules. Also make sure you purchase memory module from Fujitsu or Authorized Fujitsu Dealers .

something is chewing up your space. save your data by doing a backup and then format it by entering *2767*3855# wait for it to finish and restore your data. all should be ok.

No that memory is not compatible. The Precision 350 uses memory called RDRAM aka RAMBUS.

Here are the speeds and sizes that are supported.

Memory modules supported PC800-40: 64-, 128-, 256-, 512-MB, non-ECC or ECC

PC1066-32P: 128-, 256-, 512-MB, ECC and 64-, 128-

Minimum memory PC800-40: 128 MB non-ECC and ECC

Hi Problem is with my camera, error message always appears saying the camera need 5MB of memory to function. i dont know wat to delete in order to have it work.

It simply means that your phone's internal memory has less than 5 mb of free space and the camera require at least 5 mb of space to operate. So you have to free up a minimum of 5 mb from your internal memory.

Memory card problem on SPH-M610

I had the same problem. The store where I got my phone checked another phone off the shelf and it had the same problem, and so did another one. But they gave me a 512 mb card and it works. But I still want my 64 mb card working.
