The keyboard was working fine a couple days ago, but now it won't charge and flashes red and blue.

That usually indicates battery is beginning to go bad. Eventually it will not hold a charge and will need to be replaced.

usually, its an indication that the battery is nearing the end of its useful life. you can try to use another battery to isolate it further. If the same thing happens with another battery, chances are, the mobo is failing. Flashing the BIOS can usually help with battery issues. If another battery works fine and your computer is within its first year since you bought it, you can request a replacement battery from Dell

sound to me like you have a bad battery, a lot of ryobi batterys don't last like they should i have had the same problem, but my battery was less than a year old and i took it back and they give me a new one.

It looks to me like Logitech changed the design a bit. I found no such "CAP", however the problem did in fact lie in the same spot under the sleep button. I found a flat cable that had 6 jumper wires running through it to be the culprit. The cable was made too big, so they bent it to make it fit thus damaging it. I'm going to have to replace it, but just from playing with it a little I got my keyboard to turn on advertising a full charge and when I set it on the base I get a green light off happiness.
