On your tablet, make sure bluetooth is turned on. Then on the keyboard, turn on the bluetooth button. They should automatically pair, but if not, the tablet should detect the keyboard and then choose it.
Hi Patrocinia
Most decent tablets don't need a keyboard attached!
But you didn't mention the Brand?
On an iPad you connect via bluetooth or.... on the older models also by 30 pin connector on the bottom.
If your tablet is Bluetooth-enabled, follow the set up instructions that came with the keyboard. Basically, you turn Bluetooth on on both the keyboard and the tablet. Start the process of pairing and connecting from the tablet. If you are asked to enter a password/passkey and it is not specified in the keyboard's manual enter '0000' or '1234' (without the quotes). Note that the password is required only for pairing, therefore it will happen only the first time. If your tablet is not Bluetooth-enabled, you cannot connect the keyboard to it.
To start off, you need a Bluetooth keyboard. Once you have that, follow the set up instructions that come with the keyboard to pair and connect it to the tablet via Bluetooth.
Via Bluetooth. I assume your keyboard is a Bluetooth keyboard, as this is the only type of keyboard you can connect to a tablet or mobile phone. Follow the instructions on the set up guide that came with the keyboard.
It looks like your tablet is not Bluetooth-enabled, in which case you cannot connect the Bluetooth keyboard to it. You may try to connect a regular keyboard via the USB port on the tablet (although I believe that USB port may accept only flash drives).
1. Typing the code '0000' + Enter on the tablet screen, making the tablet check 2. Hitting the same code '0000' (and maybe Enter, don't remember) on the keyboard right after.
..then the tablet paired the keyboard correctly. Good luck!
It maybe connected by bluetooth, so i think it needs no password, Suggest you to contact Samsung ,they should be helpful. GOOD LUCK. Android 4.0 Tablet PC
